Education, Memberships and Awards

Education: Edward Palumbo holds a
BA Degree from the University of
Rhode Island. He has continued his
education at many venues including
the Brown University Learning
Community, HarvardX and the Warwick
Public Library. He has attended many
seminars as may pertain to the craft of
writing and publishing success techniques.

Memberships: Edward Palumbo is
a member of Good Reads and a
member of AuthorStand and
a member of Writing.com. Edward

holds an Artist's Membership with the

RISD Museum of Fine Art.

Awards: In 1998, Edward Palumbo's
poem, "SHELLS", was awarded first
prize in The Poet's Page's 2nd
Annual Poetry Contest. In 2014,
Edward's 10 Minute Play, "A
Penguin for Dinner", was
awarded 5th prize honors in
Bellarmine University's Third
Festival of New 10 Minute Plays.
In 2014, Ed's short story, "The Plot
Device", was awarded 2nd prize
honors in the Loudoun Public Library's
2014 Write On! contest. All prizes
included cash awards.
